Cornerstone Christian Academy adopts Technology Intiative

The technological vision of Cornerstone is for its students to receive excellent instruction implemented through the latest education technological advances, to realize the importance of this technology to be able to impact their world now and in the future, and to respond productively by using such technology in new and expanded ways for the betterment of their lives. Having achieved the status of Microsoft Showcase School, Cornerstone believes it is well on its way to fulfilling this vision. The local newspaper, The Sentinel News, recognized this accomplishment by stating the following: 

Schools across the nation are tossing out the pencils, papers, textbooks and folders and upgrading to tech-friendly classrooms, integrating technology initiatives.  Cornerstone Christian Academy was at the forefront of this movement in Shelby County as students in fifth-twelfth grades began using Microsoft Surface 3 and Microsoft Pro 3 devices in their classrooms… 

Through its 1:1 Technology Initiative, a small, rural school has taken its classroom walls and expanded them to the world. Connectivity with endless possibilities for the effective instruction of students – anytime, anywhere.
